Shelfmark: MS Or 123. Decoration: Headpiece in blue and gold (f. 1v) with text on cloudbands in the first opening (f. 1v-2r) with gold, black, red and blue border-rules. Textblock on all other pages is border-ruled in black, gold, blue. Arabic source-text is overlined in gold and written in naskh to distinguish it from the translation. Gold, floriated tailpiece (f. 126r). Script: Persian in nastaʻliq; Arabic in naskh. Layout: 16 long lines; border-ruled. Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left. Title supplied by cataloger. Manuscript codex.. Persian translation and commentary of selections from Nahj al-balāghah. Arabic source-text is overlined and written in a different style to distinguish it.
