The work, written by Şehâbeddîn İbn Arabşâh, consists of stories about the history, customs and traditions of Turkish states and societies. There is no information about the book in the works of historians contemporary with Ibn Arabshah. However, according to the information given in the Dictionary of Names of Turkish Literature, this text is the historical work of Şehâbeddîn İbn Arabşâh (Aksoyak 2020). A copy is in the Turkish Manuscripts Department of the Austrian National Library, N.F. No study has been identified about Hikâyât fî-Etrâk, which is registered at number 465.
