Notes A masnavi about the Karbala incident. The work begins with praise to Allah, followed by Hz. Muhammad and the Prophet. Couples praising Ali are included. What follows is the narration of the events that took place on the eve of the Prophet's death and the discussions that took place after his death. Hz. Fatima's death, Hz. Martyrdom of Ali, Hz. Hasan was declared caliph and the people of Kufa swore allegiance to him, and Muawiyah, the governor of Damascus, agreed to Hz. The people of Kufa broke their covenant after he started the war against Hasan. Hasan's withdrawal from the caliphate and his death by poisoning are among the topics discussed. The copyright section of the book is named "Möhsün's dream, the content of this dream and the date of the beginning of the popular book." Then Hz. The story of Hussein begins and the imam's visit to Mecca is told. Hz. While describing Hüseyin's life, the poet also included a section titled "Möhsün's complaint about illness and weakness" about his own situation. In the work, the people of Kufa, Hz. Inviting Hussein to their city, Hz. Hüseyin's Müslüm b. Sending Aqil to Kufa as his ambassador, Ibn Ziyad coming from Basra to Kufa upon the order of Yazid and martyrizing Muslim and his supporters, the martyrdom of Muslim's two sons, Hz. Hussein's departure for Iraq, receiving the news of Muslim's martyrdom, what happened during the journey and arriving in Karbala, the events that took place in the desert of Karbala, Hz. The brutal martyrdom of Hussein and his supporters and the events that followed were narrated. In the epilogue of his masnavi, Nevvâb writes that he started the work in the month of Rabi'ul-Awwal (16.08-14.09.1863) in 1280 and finished it in the month of Shaban (11.01-08.02.1864). Bahrü'l-Hüzen was published by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Three copies are kept at the Manuscripts Institute. The author's copy with registration number M-147 contains folios 1b-72a of the magazine it is in. It was completed in Shusha on 18 Rajab 1281/17 December 1864. Five miniatures (23 b, 46 b, 55 b, 60 a, 63a) were drawn by Mesneviye Nevvâb. This manuscript also includes Nevvâb's other works (Kenzü'l-Mihenvr.73b-106b; various poems in Turkish, Persian and Arabic: elegies, odes, articles of history, etc.). The other two manuscripts of the work (D-347; D-920) are in the Manuscripts Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (Геюшов, 1994: 265).
