Notes	The work contains the poems of Vaʻdî, one of the 17th century poets. In the Va'dî Divan, which is far from the structured divan order, there are a total of 199 poems, including 6 eulogies, 155 ghazals, 18 rubais, 7 stanzas, 3 verses and 10 syllabuses. Three of the odes in the Va'dî Divan are in the miraciyye type. Among the other odes, the one with rose rhymes is Hz. In praise of the Prophet, it is in the naat type, and the other two are in the form of the sultan of the time, IV. It is in Mehmed's praise. Vaʻdî, like many divan poets, has shown the most demand for ghazals among the verse forms. Most of the 155 ghazals in Divan express amorous and passionate feelings. Another common feature of ghazals is that the poet's joy of life is felt in almost all of them. Vaʻdî wrote 7 stanzas, one of which consists of 11 couplets. In one of these poems, the date was omitted, in the others, luck was complained about and vulgar ascetics were criticized. The poet focused on subjects such as drinking councils and worldly blessings in his rubais, all of which he chose ahreb patterns. In the Va'dî Divan, a language compatible with the poetic language of his period was generally used. Although the language sometimes gets heavy in the odes, simplicity comes to the fore in other poems. Like many divan poets, Vaʻdî successfully used the themes and dreams of classical poetry in his poems, and also knew how to decorate them with literary arts. He did not hesitate to write parallels to the poems of poets whom he considered important, and he also knew how to prove that he was a successful representative of this literature with his own unique expressions. Va'dî Dîvânı was the subject of a master's thesis (Yücel 2001) with its three copies (Istanbul University Rare Works Library TY 285, TY 5554, Nuruosmaniye Library 4959/2).
