Notes	The ode and commentary titled El-Hikmetü'l-Bâliga. El-Hikmetü'l-Bâliga, which belongs to Molla Mahmud Fârûkî (d. 1062/1652), is a philosophical treatise and is best known for its commentary titled 'eş-Şemsü'l-Bâziga' written by its author (Bazmee 1995: 182). Yemlihâ-zâde Mustafâ Kâmil Efendi comments on every couplet of this work about wisdom. In the introduction, the commentator states that he makes comments in an easy and understandable style after introducing himself. In addition, he also uses drawings that will contribute to the commentary within the work. The work is an Arabic verse-prose text. It is registered under the name el-Hikmetü'l-Baliga in the National Library Manuscripts Collection, number 06 Mil Yz A 3584. The first information about this ode and its commentary is given by Bursalı Mehmed Tahir in Ottoman Authors (Bursalı Mehmed Tahir 1972: 469).
