Notes
Work by Harîrîzâde Mehmed Kemâleddin Efendi. It is the commentary of the prayer called Seb'u teveccühât ve cem'u tevessülât (Çiçek 1997: 193). The work is a treatise that gives information about seyr u suluk, solvatism and the dhikr of the word tawhid. The author explains the reason for writing the work as follows: "Attaining eternal happiness and getting rid of the deceits of the soul is possible through seyr u suluk. This can be achieved by continuing the dhikr and the disciples of the order. Thus When I was in Egypt, I saw a vird with many meanings and few phrases... It was called Seb'u tawaccühât ve cem'u tevessülât. I wanted to write a commentary on it, and I named it Reşahatü'l-Esna... while I was in Egypt. (Çiçek 1995: 431). The language of the work is Arabic. The only known copy is in the Süleymaniye Library, Hacı Mahmûd Efendi, 2909 (Çiçek 1995: 431).
