Notes	The author's work for those who claim to be a sheikh even though they are not a sheikh. Telhisu Def'i-Meta'in is a treatise written about the offensive words of Ibn Fahreddin, who pretends to be a sheikh. In some sources and records, it is mentioned as "Risâle fî Kavlî'l-Müteşeyyihi't-Tâ'in Ibn Fahreddin". Kemal Eraslan states that an independent copy of this Arabic treatise recorded in Enisi's Menakibname has not been found yet, and that the work is a treatise that is a summary of the work called Def'ü Mata'ini's-Sufiyye (Hallu Müşkilât) (Eraslan 1984:13; Yıldız 2016:218). İsmail Yakıt, on the other hand, states that the work is accepted as a summary of Defu'l-Metâ'ini's-Sufiyye (Hallü Müşkilât) and that it exists as a separate treatise. The copies of the work that can be identified are as follows: 1. Suleymaniye Library Pertev Pasha Library No: 260/2, between sheets 28b-30b, 23 lines. 2. Millet Library Ali Emîri Library No: 4318/13, between sheets 144-152, 13 lines (Yakıt 1990: 24-25). While praising the Sufis in "Telhis-i Def'i Matâ'in", Akşemseddin used Sufi concepts extensively and included the views and thoughts of famous Sufis. As in Akşemseddin's other work, it is seen that he expresses the understanding of unity of existence with references from verses and hadiths. The treatise is mixed in verse and prose. In this treatise, in which he gives information about the states of the Sufis, the author also included Arabic and Persian words and expressed his feelings and thoughts in an artistic style in plain Turkish.
