Notes
Halîmî completed it in 872/1467-68 and II. The dictionary of prose names that he presented to Bâyezîd. The author selected his work from works such as Ibn Dureyd's (d. 321/933)'s Cemheretü'l-Lüġa, Cevherî's (d. 392/1002)'s-Sıhâh fi'l-Lüġa and İbn Fâris's (d. 395/1004) Mücmelü'l-Lüġa. It was written as an interlinear translation by giving Persian or Turkish equivalents to Arabic names. The dictionary, which corresponds to only some of the words, is arranged in letter order (Erkan 1997: 342, Uzun 2005: 7). The copy of the work copied by Futûhî bin Halîl is registered in the National Library, Manuscripts Collection, 06 Mil Yz B 748. There is no work done on this dictionary so far.
