Under the title "Hacı Bektaş Velî's All-Holy Attributes, who can be mentioned", after mentioning the extraordinary qualities of Hacı Bektaş since his childhood, his fondness for worship, his refusal to accept the sultanate and his "good deeds" day and night, it is stated in the Persian legend: Kata'a kerde nefs ra “Cihl salan merd-i Huda maqsûd lâ mechanist.” The statement is included (Duran 2007: 94). Again, Esad Coşan, Istanbul Süleymaniye Library, reports that at the end of a manuscript dated 977/1569 registered at number 1500 (at 54a), the Persian Hacı Bektaş Veli guardianship is mentioned (1986: XVI-XLVI). The author also suggests that the Turkish velâyetnâme may have been translated from this Persian velâyetnâme and even that both may have belonged to the same author.
