Notes	The dictionary known to have been written by Mirzâ-zâde Mehmed Sâlim Efendi (b. 1099/1688 - d. 1156/1743). Mehmet Tahir from Bursa recorded the name of the work as Terceme-i Lugat-ı Vassâf (Saraç 2019: II/661). It is known that Sâlim started writing Lugat-ı Vassâf, which he designed to review and renew the dictionary previously prepared by Nazmî-zâde Murtaza and Hüseyin Efendiler for the words used in Reşidüddin Fazlullah Şirazî's Târîh-i Vassâf, which were difficult to understand (İnce 2018: 19).
