Notes	Sheikhulislam Mustafa b. Bâlî's annotation to Seyyid Şerif el-Cürcânî's commentary on el-MisbâhadlıMiftâhu'l-Ulûm (Kâtip Çelebi 2011: 1411; İpşirli and Kaya 2020: 295). The work says, “O you who know the secrets of those in need!” It starts with the statement (Kâtip Çelebi 2011: 1411). In the annotation, there are criticisms of rhetoricians such as Kemalpaşa-zâde, Taftâzânî, İmâmüddin el-Kâşî and Molla Hüsrev, who wrote commentaries and annotations to Ebû Yakûb es-Sekkâkî's rhetoric book called Miftâhu'l-Ulûma (İpşirli and Kaya 2020: 295). Kâtip Çelebi, Mustafa b. It is reported that Bâlî wrote this annotation while he was a professor in one of the Sahn-ı Semân madrasahs (2011: 1411). Mustafa b. Since Bâlî was a professor at Sahn-ı Semân between 1624 and 1626 (İpşirli and Kaya 2020: 295; Ekinci 2017: 512), the work was written between these dates. There are two copies of the annotation registered in the Süleymaniye Manuscript Library, Şehit Ali Pasha Collection 2218 and Bağdatlı Vehbi Efendi 1776 (İpşirli and Kaya 2020: 295).
