Notes The work written by İbrahim Gülşenî as a parallel to Mevlana's Mesnevi. The poet completed this Persian masnavi, which he started writing in Diyarbakır, in Cairo. During Gülşenî's lifetime, Abdullah b. Two copies, copied by Mahmut and one copy by Vardar Yeniceli Ömer, are in the Süleymaniye Library. The first 500 couplets of the work were annotated by La'lî Mehmet Fenâyî. Fenâyî's work was published (Istanbul 1289); his commentary was prepared as a master's thesis by Ayhan Tek (2009).
