Notes Work written by Mehmed Nasûhî Efendi in the 17th century. It is not a commentary of the Holy Quran as a whole, but includes some surahs. According to the information in Kemal Edip Kürkçüoğlu's work titled Şeyh Muhammed Nasûhî: His Life, Works, Divan, Letters, the commentaries in the nine-volume work are as follows: Tefsîr-i Sûret-ül Mü'mîn, Tefsîr-i Sûret-ün Nûr, Tefsîr-i Sûret-ül. Furkan, Tefsîr-i Sûret-üş Şu'arâ, Tefsîr-i Sûret-ün Nahl, Tefsîr-i Sûret-ül Kasas, Tefsîr-i Sûret-ül Ankebût, Tefsîr-i Sûre-i Yâ-Sîn, Tefsîr-i Sûret-üs Sâffât, Tefsîr-i Sûre-i Sâd, Tefsîr-i Sûret-üz Zümer (Kürkçüoğlu yty: 20). According to the Islamic Encyclopedia and the master's thesis prepared by Mustafa Yılmaz, Mehmed Nasûhî Efendi's Tefsîr-i Şerîf is Mümin, Nûr, Furkan, It includes the commentary of Şuara, Kasas, Ankebût, Yâsin, Sâffât, Sâd, Neml and Zümersûres. Apart from these suras, there are also interpretations of many great verses. According to the information in Ottoman Authors, Nasûhî Efendi's work consists of ten volumes. However, it is reported that the tenth volume remained in the Safvetî Efendi Lodge around Doğancılar and burned there. Although there is no information about the date of copyright in the sources, the copy of Tefsîr-i Şerîf written by the author could not be found. It was said by Ömer Nasûhî Bilmen that the author's copy of the work was seen in the Nâsûhî Lodge Library. Although the library was transferred to the Süleymaniye Library in 1995, the work in question is not available there.
