Notes	Bedir Muhtâr, who divided the work into ten chapters, talked about the states of the heart, repentance, contemplation, trust in himself, the rights of parents, the night prayer, piety, gratitude, dhikr and prayers; In the prayers section, there are references to Gazzali's Ihyâü ulûmi'd-dîn, Ebû Tâlib el-Mekkî's Kûtü'l-kulûb fî mu'âmeleti'l-mahbûb, and er-Râgıb el-İsfahânî's ez-Zerî'a ila He made quotations from his mekarimi'ş-şerî'a. This work of Bedir Muhtâr, who frequently used the verses of the Holy Quran and hadiths while writing his works because he was a muhaddis and commentator, is considered valuable in terms of suluk science, even though it is small in size. The author made additions to the short and concise quotations he compiled from the classics of Sufism.
