Notes	It is one of the works about the Turkish language that we do not have today by Ebû Hayyân, one of the important figures who wrote works on the Turkish language. His full name is Ebû Hayyân Muhammed b. Yusuf b. `Ali b. Yusuf b. It is accepted that the author, Hayyān al Ġırnatî (al Endulusî), wrote around 50 works according to various Arabic sources such as Serkîs, el-Yemânî, İbn Hacer, Makkarî, and among these, five works are related to the Turkish language: Kitâbu'l-İdrâk li Lisâni'l-Etrâk, Kitâbu'l-Efâl fî Lisâni't Türk, Zehvu'l-Mülk fî Nahvi't-Türk, Nefhatu'l- Misk fî Sîrati't-Türk and Ed-Dürretü'l-Mudiyye fi'l-Lugati't- Türkiyye. According to Es-Safedî, Makkarî and El-Bağdâdî, the work named Nefhatu'l-Misk fî Sîrati't-Türk, which is stated to belong to Ebû Hayyân, has not been found to date.
