Hâzık's amorous masnavi. Yusuf and Züleyhâmesnevi, written by the poet in Persian, was published in Kanpur in 1900 and 1904, and in Tashkent in 1907, in the annotation of the Abdurrahman Câmî Collection (pp. 460-476) (Щеглова 1975: 464, 491). Five manuscripts (1774, 3669, 197, 1064, 1081) are preserved in the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences (Семенов 1954: 342-343). In general, there are more than 20 manuscript copies in the state and private libraries of Uzbekistan. It consists of 900 verses in total (Ўзбек адабиёти тарихи 1978: 220). The poet started to write the masnavi in question for Umar Khan, the ruler of Kokand, but after the mentioned khan passed away in 1822, the work was handed over to his successor, Muhammed Ali Khan.
