Notes	A work about the history and monuments of Shirvan. Seyyid Azim Shirvani also gave information about the history of Shirvan in the Preface of his memoirs. Subsequently, he noted, "Since I gave the history of Shirvan in my book History of Shirvan, I do not return to that subject here" (Shirvani, 1974: 452). A part of this work, which is lost today, was found in Shamakhi in 1870-1880 and was translated into Russian and published by the orientalist Vladimir Bezmenov (Безменов, 1884).
