Notes	Annotation by Hüdâyî of Kuistânî's commentary on the work called Fıkh-ı Keydânî. The original work was written by Lutfullah en-Nesefî el-Keydânî (d.949/1542) under the name Muḳaddimetü'ṣ-ṣalât (el-Mukaddimetü'l-Keydâniyye, Metâlibü'l-musallî). The famous Hanafi jurist Mehmed Kuhistânî (d.962/1555) wrote a commentary on this work under the name Câmiʿu'l-mebânî li-mesâʾili (fî şerḥi) fıḳhi'l-Keydânî. This work of Hüdâyî is an annotation to this commentary. From the introduction of the work, it is understood that Hüdâyî wrote this annotation work after the treatise called Keşfu'l-kınâ an vechi's-semâ'. The author of the work, which describes the fards, conditions and pillars of prayer according to Hanafi jurisprudence, begins by pointing out the four basic sources of the religion. They are the Book, the Sunnah, ijma and qiyas. Apart from the fards of prayer, the issues of obligatory and makruhs of prayer are also pointed out. The work is an expanded catechism of prayer, especially by bringing important and reliable narrations and witnesses about prayer. Except for one copy of the work, which has a volume of around two hundred and five pages, no other copy has been found.
