Notes Author, Ebû İshak Ahmed b. Muhammad b. It is the continuation of İbrâhîm es-Sa'lebî en-Nîsâbûrî's commentary named el-Keşf ve'l-Beyân ʿan Tefsîri'l-Ḳurʾân (et-Tefsîrü'l-kebîr, Tefsîrü's̱-S̱aʿlebî). In his work.el-Kashf ve'l-Beyân, Sa'lebî interprets the Quran with the Qur'an and the narrations from the companions and the followers. Bedir Mukhtar's doctrine is also based on the verses of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad. They are the sunnah and hadiths of Muhammad. In his commentary, Sa'lebî gives the number of verses, words and letters of the suras. He focuses on narrations about the virtues of the suras, aspects of recitation, explanations of fiqh and nahve, and especially records various narrations of Israelite origin about the stories of the Quran. Sa'lebî's commentary is described as a popular and authentic commentary by many authors (Mertoğlu 2009: 28-29). In his work, Bedir Muhtâr also talks about some issues related to the sciences of the Quran, such as the reasons for the revelation, the comments made on the abrogated verses, and the references to Mecca and Medina. This work of Bedir Muhtâr (Mebâhisü't-Tefsîr), who benefited greatly from the verses and hadiths while writing his works because he was a muhaddis and commentator, is in the statement of Sa'lebî's commentary.
