Ali Ferdî Efendi's aruz treatise on the bahirs used in Tuhfe-i Şâhidî. In addition to the name Şerh-i Tuhfe-i Şâhidî, the work also includes Şerhu Tuhfeti'ş-Şâhidî, Risâle fî Beyâni Vech-i Tesmiyet-i Buhûr-i Tuhfeti'ş-Şâhidî, Veznü Tuhfeti'ş-Şâhidî, Şerhu Buhûri Tuhfe-i ŞâhidîveŞerhü. They have also been named with names such as Şâhidî. In the work written with the aim of giving information about the bahirs in which Tuhfe was written, the names of the bahirs used in the 27 stanzas in the text in question are mentioned, they are named by showing the juzs and zihafs, and these names are compared with the names in other aruz books and the differences are mentioned. In this regard, attention has been drawn to which terms used in prosody are more preferred. (Öz 1999: 103). There are nearly 20 copies of the work registered in library catalogues.
