Notes .Copy of a commentary on an Arabic ḳaṣīde on the art of Koran recitation. Ḥamdullāh b. Ḫayruddīn used the pen-name Ḥamdī. The original poem was concluded in 959/1551-2 (cf. f. 29a), the commentary in 960/1552-3 (cf. f. 30a). This copy was finished by Hāfiẓ İbrāhīm b. Meḥmed b. ‘Ālī el-İstanbulī during the final days of Muḥarrem 1044 (16-26 July 1634).
