Written surface: 9.5 x 18.8 cm, 25 lines per page, in clear naskhi script in black ink, on beige paper, with headings, keywords, and markings in red. Text: folios: 1b – 36a
The title "Kitāb Mufīd al-ḥiṣāb" [The Book of Mathematical Assistant] appears at the end of the manuscript. At the beginning, the manuscript was called "Kitāb fī al-ʻadad al-Hindī" [A book on Indian numerals].
Arab authors always considered, and correctly so, the Arabic numerals as coming from India.
Recent cloth, in excellent shape. Paper size: 19 x 25.6 cm.
Anonymous. No reference can be found for this manuscript, probably a unique one.
According to the colophon, copy completed on 28 Jumādā al-Ākhirah 1328 AH [July 7, 1910 AD].
