Draper's History of the Conflict between Religion and Science (London 1874). The second title of the book, titled Islam and Ulûm, includes Ahmed Midhat's criticisms of Draper and his views that Islam has no connection with the claims made. Nizâ-ı İlm ü Dîn, which was serialized in Tercümân-ı Hakîkat starting from 1313 (1896), was later published in four volumes in small-sized parts with a total volume of nearly 2000 pages (1897-1900).
