In the first volume of the work (Istanbul 1297 r./1299), which he planned to write in twenty books in ten volumes, but was probably able to write three volumes that have survived to the present day, the establishment of the Janissary Corps, its organization, barracks, the existence of the Janissaries in various centuries, their members, clothes, weapons, customs, rebellions and finally the abolition of the corps, and the Acemi who trained soldiers for this corps.
