Although the work attributed to Ibn Metteveyh in some sources (İbnü'l-Murtazâ, p. 119) was published incompletely by Ömer es-Seyyid Azmî (Cairo 1965) and the first volume by Jean Jozef Houben (Beirut 1965), attributed to Kadi Abdülcebâr, II. The volume was researched by Daniel Gimaret and Jean Jozef Houben under the name of Ibn Mettewayh (Beirut 1986), and the incorrectness of attributing it to Qadi Abd al-Jabbar in previous publications was stated in the introduction.
