Notes
Written as one column in 15 lines per page. Naskh scripts in black ink with titles in red. Maroon leather binding with medallion, şemse. The Arabic work we have, also known as el-Erba'înu't-Tâiyye, was written in the Forty Hadith genre. The author states that the hadiths that contain good news for those who memorize forty hadiths are the reason for the work. In the introduction, the author states that he listened to each of the forty hadiths, each of which was narrated by a different companion, from a different sheikh, and notes that in each hadith, he wrote the name, identity, rank, age and some of the virtues of the companion who narrated the hadith, and also added some useful information after each hadith. Stating that he added narratives (stories) and poems appropriate to the subject when necessary, the author states that he wanted to start the work with the hadith "Actions are according to intentions," but according to the book's order, he had to start with the hadith narrated from Abu Bakr al-Siddiq. A separate section has been opened for each ten hadiths in the work. There is also an inscription at the end of these sections. The work has been edited and has Riyadh (1996) and Beirut (2015) editions.
The copyist of the copy is Murshid b. Zeynelabidîn b. Yahya b. Muhammad b. el-Ğıyâs el-Huseynî. There is no date of copying. Before starting the eleventh hadith, the copyist records that he heard this hadith from the author at-Tai in 551 Shawwal/November-December 1156 (Sema' record). Therefore, it is possible to say that the foot copy of our copy belongs to the author's student. 1a contains the imprint information of the work. There is Turkish information on alternative medicine in 112a. There is a Turkish fatwa in 112b. There are correction records in some margins. The copy is rejected.
