Notes
Written as one column in 9 lines per page. Taʿlīq script in black ink with some words and titles in red. The volume has cartoon. It is a work created and bound by bringing together three different manuscripts (Manuscript numbers: MS 511, MS 512, MS 513).
MS 511: It is the first work of the three-work magazine. This Arabic work on rhetoric belongs to Antakyalı Mahmûd Efendi. The author begins the work by describing truth, metaphor and allusion, and then deals with the subject of metaphor and metaphor in detail. Many commentaries have been written on the very famous work. The work is by Sheikh Mehmed b. It was translated into Turkish by Mehmed Subiçevi. The work was printed independently and with Musannifek's commentary. Additional information: 1st work: There is Turkish poetry on the front cover. In 1a, the names of the works in the magazine, Arabic couplet, comments on the importance of science, Hafız Ali el-Avnî b. There is an ownership record in the name of İbrahim ed-Divlevî and an ownership seal dated 1258/1842-3, as well as an unreadable ownership seal. The appropriation form consists of six mim nun letters. The copyist of the work is also the owner of the magazine. Then the edges are empty. The copy is rejected.
512 AD: In the treatise written by Bozkîrî İbrahim Efendi, rhetoric/declaration issues such as truth, glorification, relevance, allusion, metaphor, metaphor, presumption are discussed. Additional information: 2nd work: It is the second work of the three-work magazine. Its copyist is es-Sayyid Hafız Mehmed ed-Divlevî. There is no date or place of copying. In the recording of the copy, the copyist prays for the person who reproduced the copy, the reader, the memorizer and the minister by intercessing with the month of Ramadan. In this case, the copy must have been copied in a month of Ramadan. In 9a, the author's name is written in the margin. There are two fevâids on the edges. The copy is rejected.
MS 513: It is the third work of the three-work magazine. The copy we have is missing from the beginning. The copyist of the second copy of this magazine is Hafız Ali b. Ibrahim b. Yusuf b. Ibrahim b. It was copied by Yusuf ed-Divlevî in 1255/1839-40. Although the copy is a part of the magazine, it has been renumbered from the first page. 60a is empty. In 60b it is written: "It is the book of Salim Efendi, it is a book of relevance, to the Almighty." Above this, there is the inscription His Holiness Mehmed Efendi. There are footnotes on some of the edges. These notes must belong to Hafız Ali el-Avnî, the owner of the magazine. The copy is rejected. About the magazine: There are three works in the magazine. Two of them are about rhetoric and one is about logic. The language of all three works is Arabic. The names of two people appear as principals in the magazine. The ownership record of Salim Efendi, one of them, should not be to the magazine, but to one of the works/copies in the magazine. As a matter of fact, in the appropriation record it is written, "It is the relevant book of Salim Efendi," which means the first work in the magazine. However, in this case, it would be difficult to explain why the aforementioned record was written on the last leaf of the third work and not on the zahriye of the first work. No presumption has been found regarding Salim Efendi's interest/relationship with Salim Erel, the donor of the collection. The second foundation in the magazine is Hafız Ali el-Avnî b. It is İbrahim ed-Divlevî. In 1a there is a record of ownership and a seal, which are the trademarks of Hafız Ali al-Avnî. The illegible appropriation seal on the same page should also belong to him. Hafız Ali el-Avnî has ownership records in many manuscripts in the Salim Erel Manuscripts. Therefore, Hafız Ali al-Avnî should be the owner of the magazine (not any copy(s) in the magazine). Another feature of the magazine is that the copyist of the second and third copies is Hafız Ali el-Avnî.
