Notes
Written as one column in 13 lines per page. Taʿlīq script in black ink with some words and titles in red. Black leather binding. It is a commentary on the work called al-Kâfiye, written by Cemâluddîn İbnü'l-Hâcib on Arabic grammar. The source text, which consists of three main sections where nouns, verbs and letters are discussed, is one of the three basic works in the science of grammar after Sîbewayh's el-Kitâb and Zemahşerî's el-Mufassal. Al-Rhyme was taught as a textbook in Ottoman madrasahs for centuries. Approximately 150 commentaries were written on the work in Arabic, Turkish and Persian, and later, annotations to these commentaries and instructions were written on the annotations. The annotation we have is one of the aforementioned works. The name and author of the work, the copy of which we have begins with the word merfû'ât, could not be determined.
The copy we have of the work is missing from the beginning and end. Omar b. There is an ownership seal in the name of Ahmet. There is a hadith in the back story. There are annotations in the margins and between the lines. The copy is rejected.
