Notes
Written as one column in 21 lines per page. Taʿlīq script in black ink. It has a cartoon binding covered with marbeled paper. In the introduction of the work, the translator states that Imam Gazali described the characteristics of Muslims in four chapters in the introduction of Kimyây-ı Saâdet and listed them as knowledge of self, knowledge of self, knowledge of worldly knowledge and knowledge of the hereafter. However, the translator lists a fifth chapter and states that this is muhabbetullah. Afterwards, he states that since the source book, Kimyâ-i Saadet, was in Persian, many people could not benefit from the work and that he made this translation. In 1a, there is a Turkish poem about merit. There is a couplet related to copying in 70a. 70b is empty. Except for a small number of revision records, the margins are empty. Correction records must also be written by the copyist. The copy is rejected.
