Notes Two different manuscripts bound in this volume. Taʿlīq script in black ink. The volume is covered by a damaged leather cover. It is a work created and bound by bringing together two different manuscripts (Manuscript numbers: MS 589, MS 590). 589 AD: This is the commentary written by Teftâzânî on the work titled el-ʿİzzî fi't-tasrîf, written by İzzeddin ez-Zencânî on the science of sarf. In the source text el-Îzzi, which is one of the five works commonly taught in Ottoman madrasahs and known as the 'saf sentence' and is also known as al-Mebâdî fi't-Tasrîf, et-Tasrîf, the science of 'suf' is described and the verbs are classified according to their letter numbers and types. Then, the rules of illicit law are explained and the exceptional cases of culpable acts are mentioned. At the end of the book, the names of time and space are discussed. This work was commented on by many scholars, including Teftâzânî, Cürcânî and Aliyyü'l-Kârî, and some annotations were written on these commentaries. The work, which is recorded to have been written by Teftâzânî at the age of sixteen, was completed on March 8, 1338. Sıdkî İshak Efendi b. The work, of which only the introduction was annotated by İslâm el-Çerkezî, was printed many times in Istanbul, Tehran, Kanpur, Cairo and Bombay. Additional information: It is the first work of a magazine with two works. There is no copying record. In 1a, there is another deleted ownership record in the name of Hacı Şaban and a note saying "Two pare books, one is Şerh-i İzzî and the other is Şerh-i Maksûd"; It must have been written by the bookseller. Lettering patterns were also made on the same leaf. 47b is empty. There are correction/correction records in the margins. 590 AD: Veli b. It is a commentary made by Ahmed. The author states that he did not have a commentary with him when he made his children read the source text Maksud, and that is why he copyrighted this work, and he cites the unity of meter and meaning between al-Matlub and al-Maksud as the reason for the copying of the work. In the source text al-Maksûd, sülâsî/rubaî abstract verbs and added meters in rubâî abstract are introduced and sahîh verbs are conjugated with tenses derived from the infinitive. Then, issues related to the science of sarf are discussed under the title of favaid. The work we have (without mentioning the name of the commentator) was printed together with Maksûd's commentaries Rûhu'ş-Shurûh and İm'anu'n-Nazar. Additional information: It is the second work of the two-work magazine. There is no record of copying in the copy. In 48a, there are comments on the science of shar, written in red ink. Arithmetic scribbling was done in 126a, and beautiful writing work was done in 126b. There are tas hîh records in a small number of marginal notes. The copy is rejected. About the magazine: It is a consumption magazine. There is no record of copying in either copy; But it is very clear that both copies (macmua) were written by the same copyist. Another feature of the magazine is its correction/mukabele records. Both works, especially the first one, were read and corrected by a careful eye.
