Notes
Written in 18 lines per page. Shikasta Taʿlīq script in black ink with titles in red. Brown leather binding with medallion, şemse. The beginning of the work is missing. The dictionary starts with "faslu'l-bâ" in "Bâbü'l-Bâ" based on the Arabic triple root. One or two words of Turkish equivalent are written under each Arabic word. In 57a, there is the seal of Belviran Judge Es-Seyyid Ali Efendi and the foundation record, which was later deleted. The work consists of words selected from the Arabic dictionaries Sıhâh and Kâmûs, arranged according to the Arabic triple root principle, and giving their equivalents with one or more Turkish words. According to the note at the end, there are 3000 words in the work.
