Notes Six different manuscripts bound in one volume. Taʿlīq script used in black ink with various lines per page. It has a cartoon binding covered with marbeled paper. It is a work created and bound by bringing together 6 different manuscripts (Manuscript numbers: MS 559, MS 560, MS 561, MS 562, MS 563, MS 564). 559 AD: Birgivî's treatise on Sufism. The author states that he had previously written a treatise in Turkish, following the incident stating that religion is advice, and that he later wrote this treatise on a sign. The treatise, which was completed on July 17, 1564 and consists of seven chapters and a sermon, is dedicated to this poet, whose name Birgivî does not specify. Cilâu'l-Kulûb İshak b. It was annotated by Hasan ez-Zencânî under the name of Ziyâ'ü'l-Kulûb and by Abdüsselam el-Kayseri under the name of Şifâ'ü'l-Kulûb. The choice between the names of the text and the commentaries is striking. (Cilâ-Ziyâ-Şifâ/Kulûb-Kulûb-Kulûb). Additional information: It is the first work of the magazine with six works. There is a foundation record in the name of Hoca Kadın in 1a. There are verses in the margins of the first ten leaves. The copy is rejected. 560 AD: It is one of the works written by Birgivî in the context of the debate on cash foundations that took place among the Ottoman scholars in the 16th century, against the views of Sheikhulislam Ebussuus and Kadı Bilalzade, who gave a fatwa on the permissibility of cash foundations. (Others: Ikazu'n-Naimin ve İfhamu'l-Kasirin, es-Seyfu's-Sarim fi ademi Cevazi Vakfi'l-Menkul ve'd-Derahim). The work, completed in August 1560, consists of an introduction, a purpose and an epilogue. Birgivî later translated the same treatise into Turkish. Eser Hüsameddin b. It was investigated by Moses (Jerusalem, 2002). Additional information: It is the second work of the magazine with six works. There is no record of copying; but it must have been copied by the scribe of the first copy in this magazine: 26a is empty: 26b contains the imprint information of the work before starting the work. There are very few annotations on the margins. The copy must be rejected. 561 AD: A work discussing the impermissibility of reading the Quran in exchange for money is one of the treatises Birgivî wrote about some social events of his time. By alluding to the name of the work in the introduction, it is stated that such a work was written taking into account the discord that arose among the people regarding reading the Quran in exchange for money. Birgivi proves in three stages that it is not permissible to read the Quran for money for the work whose copyright was completed in May 1565. 44a is empty. Additional information: It is the third work of the magazine with six works. There is no copying record. Then the edges are empty. The copy is rejected. 562 AD: The treatise written by Birgivî is about women's menstrual periods. On Zuhru'l-Müteehhil, which is stated to be the first independent work written about the special conditions of women, Ibn Abidin, Muhammed b. Commentaries were written by people such as Veli Kırşehri and Muhammed Efendi ed-Debbağ. It is recorded that Birgivi also has a commentary on this treatise. Additional information: It is the fourth work of the six-work magazine. In 59a-b, there is a leaf copied by Mustafa Çelebi from an annotation on the science of fiqh (probably from the annotation of this work by Birgivî). In 48b, the imprint information of the work is included before starting the work. In 60a, there is a reader's note dated 1 Zilkade 1276/21 May 1860 stating that the immigrants were settled in Ereğli. Again, in the note written in the same place and by the same pen, dated 15 Shawwal 1276/6 May 1860, there is a note stating that the engagement took place. 60b is empty. There are a few annotations on the margins. The copy is rejected. 563 AD: The work written by Birgivî is about the ta'dil-i erkan of prayer. The author wrote his work to criticize the famous view within the Hanafi sect and to encourage compliance with the early amendments. The treatise, completed in 1567-8, was written by Niğdeli Mûsâ b. Ahmed (Muvazzihu'l-Mu'addil), İsmail Efendi, Güzelhisârî, Ebü'l-Hasan Muhammed b. It was annotated by Abdurrahman es-Senedî (Menhelü'l-hudât) and Ebû Bekir el-Erzurûmî. Additional information: It is the fifth work of the six-work magazine. On 24 Muharrem 1052/1 April 1642, Recep b. Its copying was completed by Nasûh. In the copying record, the copyist's name is crossed out in red ink. 80a is empty. In 80b, there is a fawaid regarding three groups whose prayers will not be rejected, and an Arabic fawaid in the context of knowledge and ignorance. There are a few annotations on the margins. The copy is rejected. 564 AD: This is the commentary written on the concise treatise named Beynu'l-Mezahib, written by Ebu Hafs Necmeddin Ömer Nesefî about 73 sects. The author reasons that the students he taught asked him to write such a commentary. The author also gives a representative reason in the introduction. The author of the work has not been identified. Additional information: It is the sixth work of the magazine with six works. There are hadiths in 81a. In 97a Hz. There is a narration from Ali and the information that the work belongs to Ömer Nesefî, but it is false information. In 97b there is a narration from Aliyyu'l-Kârî and Mültekâ, in 98a there is an Arabic narration from Tarîkat-i Muhammediyye and there are Turkish comments on the disasters of the heart and tongue. In 98b, there is Turkish fiqh commentary on the disagreement of jurists. 99a is empty. There is a hadith in 99b and a reader's note about manna in the back cover. About the magazine: Three features of the magazine attract attention. The first is that five of the six works belong to Imam Birgivî. In other words, the magazine is a Birgivî magazine. Based on this, it comes to mind that the sixth work, whose author cannot be identified, may also belong to Birgivî. The second feature of the magazine is that there is no copyist's name or copying time in any of the copies. However, it is possible to say that the first four copies were produced by the same master. Because the fonts of these copies are very similar to each other, the name of the work is written in red ink before each work. The strongest evidence that these copies came from the same pen is that the fourth copy does not start on a separate leaf, but on the same page where the third copy ends. The third feature of the magazine is that it was donated by a woman, that is, the owner of the magazine was once a woman. In this respect, the magazine we have is the only magazine in the Salim Erel Manuscripts.
