Sample Text (1b) The beginning of it is in the name of God... said the weak servant who lacked the pardon of his rich Lord, Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Tabrizi, may God forgive him... And after that, the sciences, even if their branches are broad and their branches are many, but the greatest of them in majesty and beauty, and the highest in value and perfection, is the science of eloquence, which contains the key to guidance, a lamp that clears darkness, evidence of the faces of miracles, and the secrets of eloquence of exaggeration and brevity, and it is enough of an honor for it that it is only acquainted with the eloquence of the Qur’an. By his meaning, and it is not possible to interpret any of the verses of the rulings except with his help... (136b-137a) His last... He said, and the third is completion... I say the third is completion, and it is called the section, but it must be improved because it is the last thing that falls on the soul of the listener... In this way, it indicates that the seal of the poem is on it. All the beginnings and endings of the surahs of the Qur’an are presented in the best and best forms of eloquence. The three aforementioned arts are guaranteed by their explanation, and this cannot be realized except through contemplation and consideration, so take heed, O people of insight. This is the last explanation summarizing the key. Praise be to God, the Grantor of all goodness and prosperity. May God’s blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and all his family, Amen, O Mo’in. The end of his commentary was fourteen of the blessed Ramadan months of the year fifty-six and one thousand 1056, the year of the break, and it was written by the poor Othman bin Sheikh Bishr, known as one of the sons of Sheikh Gulburgi. May God forgive him, his parents, his grandparents, and all the rest of the Muslims in the sanctity of the Master of Messengers.
