The work was printed many times in Calcutta (I-IV, 1230-1232), Bombay (1272/1884), Leknev (1885), Bulak (1289) and Istanbul (I-IV, 1304), and was translated into Persian and Turkish. The pages of the copy are authored. Volume numbers are indicated on the accompaniment page. Pages 157 and 241 of the copy are blank. It contains the part of the work from the "Shin" chapter of the "Râ" chapter to the "dat" chapter. Page 1a has various illuminated decorations. Page 1b has an illuminated ruler. In the copy, the chapter headings and the words defined are written in red ink and slightly capitalized. The text has a large amount of vowels. There is ink damage on page 153a. It is the author's dictionary from Arabic to Arabic.

A short span: close in character and facing a span is a living thing, and with fatha: the measure of a garment for a span, giving is like spreading, the right of marriage, the ways of a camel and its beat, marriage, age, breaking, and the amount. And Shubar bin Saafouk (240b) The text: the hedgehog, the inverted porcupine, or one of them is a misprint. Al-Yawsi, with the opening of the yā’ and the waw, and the kasra of the sād and the two stressed yā’s: a bird in Iraq with a longer wing than a sparrowhawk, and the most ferocious of game, or it is the free bird.
