In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, a Lord who facilitates, a chapter on expiation: When he mentioned the ruling on zihar, which is the prohibition of intercourse and its reasons, until the end of his mention in this chapter, what ends that prohibition, which is the expiation, his saying: and the expiation for zihar is the emancipation of a slave; Accordingly, there was also a difference in the issue of division in the land of war, as in the matter of guarantee, and this was said, meaning the obligation of guarantee, and in a version without the waw. God Almighty knows best. The last part, praise be to God, is followed in the next section, the chapter on the takeover of the infidels
