The first 15 pages at the beginning of the book contain the "Index" of the work, and the other additional page contains the "Preface".
In the author's "Introduction", a part of the work is written by Prof. It was amended from Foks's German work named "Emraz-ı ayniye guide", and another important part of it was written by Paris Faculty Seririyat-ı Ayniye Instructor Prof. It was stated that it was written based on Terien's work titled "Eye diseases".
There are various colored eye pictures on additional plates other than the text.
