Notes
Work by Fazlullah b. It is the translation of one hundred hadiths selected through free translation from Nasr el-Gavri el-İmadî's book titled "et-Tuhfetü'l-Mekkiyye ve'l-ahbaru'n-Nebeviyye". At the end, in leaves 93b-112, there are some stories about the Companions.
On leaf 1b, there is the following note by M. Cevdet: "This important work is one of the oldest monuments in Turkish. Although there is no author's name here, it was written in Egypt in the name of (Sultan Berkuk) in 790 Hijri by "Futuhu'ş-Şam" to a man from Erzurum called "Mustafa b. It is Yusuf.
There are these works in Topkapı, Fatih and Hagia Sophia libraries. I have the (fifth volume) of Siyerü'n-nebi, which is not available in any library; it is bulky and heavy. The author praises Sultan Berkuk in the introduction.
