(1b) In the name of God... Praise be to God who has enabled us to realize the tenets of Islam... As for what follows... Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Yar Muhammad says... The summary called Tahdheeb Al-Kalam is by Sheikh... Al-Taftazani... and I have not seen an explanation of it that reveals its purposes... So some of the brothers asked me to explain it in a way that would solve its complexities... So (318a)... This is what God Almighty has made easy of what I meant by it by explaining Tahdheeb Al-Kalam... and to invite the poor to gather... Sheikh Muhammad Bey Ibn Yar Muhammad al-Naqshbandi... The mosque has finished editing it... in Mecca, the twelfth of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year two hundred and one thousand...
