(1b) In the name of God... The Sheikh, may God have mercy on him, said: Among them is the one who desires good deeds, and His Excellency Nouf bin Abi Fadalah Al-Bikali. He was a reader of books, and to Al-Muhammad he was a caller, and on the authority of those who warn, he forbade. And it was said that Sufism is the supplication for elevation and the gesture of apostasy... (593a)... Muhammad bin Ibrahim told us, Ishaq bin Ahmad Al-Khuza’i told us, Muhammad bin Abi Omar told us, Bishr bin Al-Sari told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Thabit, I think it was on the authority of Anas that a man came to the Prophet. May God bless him and grant him peace, with a brother of his. He said, “This is my brother. He does not help me.” He said, “Maybe you will be blessed with him.” The third part was completed with the praise and help of God...and the protection.
