Sample Text (2-7) In the name of God... God has entrusted us to our master Muhammad... Greatness belongs to you and pride belongs to your majesty, O God, the self-sustainer and the bestower of good deeds... says the youngest servant, Zakaria bin Muhammad bin Mahmoud Al-Qazwini... and he is one of the children of some jurists who were native to the city of Qazvin, and his lineage ends with Anas bin Malik, the servant of the Messenger of God... When God Almighty decreed the distance from home and homeland and separation from family and residence, I decided to read books according to the opinion of the one who said it, and the best companion in Time is my book, and I was immersed in looking at the wonders of God Almighty’s creation in His artifacts and the strangeness of His creativity in His claims... What is meant by this looking is to contemplate the intelligible, look at the tangible things, and search for their wisdom... Through the means of hearing, sight, thought, and sight, strange wisdoms and strange properties occurred to me, so I loved to bind them to confirm... The emotions of the Lord Al-Sadr, the Great, the Just, the Supporter, the Victorious, the Shams Al-Dawla, the Advocate of the Religion, Ala Al-Din... The Help of the Nation, Ata’ al-Malik Bin Muhammad Bin Muhammad... So I served this book in his council... So the one who looks at this book of mine must mean everything that was scattered and fabricated... And I called it the wonders of created beings and the strangeness of existing things, and it is necessary to mention four introductions in explaining these terms so that the intent of the book becomes clear from them... The first introduction in explaining wonders. They said wonders are confusion (340). Whoever eats it dies, and it is of this type as insipidity. It has no odor. Among its properties is an amazing strengthening of the brain, the senses, and the heart. It increases the strength of the soul and is of great benefit to the sheikhs by gently heating it. Drinking from it is rancid and anything above it is harmful. Let this be the last talk about minerals. May God grant success, peace.
