There are explanations about the text, corrections, records showing copy differences and quotes from some books between the lines and on the margins of the pages. Except for page 1b, the text is rulered. Page 2a has a gilded ruler. The title, footnote, stop and page rulers are in red ink. The pronouns and their authorities in the text are indicated with numbers between the lines. Below the line is negated. The work, also known as et-Telhîs, is the summary and commentary of the third part of Ebû Ya'kub es-Sekkâkî's work called Miftâhu'l-Ulûm, which is about rhetoric. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters and an epilogue.

(1b) Praise be to God for what He has bestowed and taught in terms of explanatory-statement that we do not know, and may blessings be upon our master Muhammad, the best of those who speak the truth... Now then, since the science of rhetoric and its subsidiaries is a given to the sciences... (2a) The third section of Miftah al-Ulum, which was compiled by the eminent scholar Abu Yaqoub Yusuf al-Sakaki, may God have mercy on him, was the most useful of what he wrote in it among the famous books because it was the best arranged and most complete. Edited... (2b) I wrote a summary that includes what it contains of the rules and includes what it needs of examples and evidence... (3a) and I called it a summary of the key... The introduction to eloquence is described by the singular, the speech, and the speaker (138b) Like his saying, “The eternity of eternity remains, O cave of its people.” This is a comprehensive supplication for the wilderness, and all the openings and endings of the surahs are mentioned in the best and most complete ways. This appears by contemplating with remembering what was mentioned above.
