In this manuscript numbered 00009 from Hacı Beşir Ağa (Eyüp) collection, there are the first two volumes and the first part of the 3rd volume of İbn Âdil's work named el-Lübâb fî Ulûmi'l-Kitâb. The remaining part of the 3rd volume of the work is registered under number 00011 in this collection. Volume 3 is followed by volumes 4 and 5 at number 00011. Number 00010 contains the 11th and 12th volumes of the work, and the 12th volume covers the end of Surah Zumar. Therefore, this copy of el-Lübâb in the Hacı Beşir Ağa (Eyüp) collection contains the 6th-10th chapters, which contain the commentary of the 27th verse of the Maide surah to the Enbiyâ surah. After the 12th volume, which includes the volumes and the commentary of the chapter from Surah al-Mu'min to Surah Nass, it is missing. Pages 1a and 399b contain information about the library where the copy is located, the name of the collection, and the collection number. On page 1a, the name of the work and the author are written in an illuminated manner. It is stated in the upper corner of page 170a that the second volume of the work begins. On page 330a, it is noted that the number of spreads of the copy is 16. In addition to black ink, red ink was also used in the copy. The pages are informative. There are corrections and notes in some page margins. Size and skin characteristics information was taken from the identification slip. It is the commentary of Ibn Adil, which contains explanations of the verses from various aspects and mostly benefited from Fahreddin er-Râzî's commentary titled Mefâtîhu'l-Gayb and Semin el-Halebî's commentary titled ed-Dürru'l-Masûn. This copy, which is the 2nd volume of the work, contains the commentary of the 91st verse to the 207th verse of the Surah Baqara.

(171b) In the name of God... His Almighty saying. And when it is said to them, “Believe in what God has revealed,” they say, “We believe in what was revealed to us.” He says, “Believers.” And when it is said to them, it means the Jews, “and they believe in what God has revealed.” That is, in everything that God has revealed.. And from His compassion and mercy is that one who persists in disbelief for a hundred years, if he repents, even in a moment, the punishment of those years is waived from him and he is given a permanent reward.
