Usûlü'l-Pezdevî is also known as Kenzü'l-Vusûl ilâ Maʿrifeti'l-Usûl. This name, which the author does not include in the work, is seen mostly in library records and recent literature. Between the lines, in the margins and in the shukkas, there are quotes and correction records from Abdulaziz el-Buhârî's commentary on Usûlü'l-Pezdevî called Keşfü'l-Esrâr. The statement that replaces the deleted statement in the authorization record in Article 205b is noted in the margin. The name of the work is written as Kitâbu'l-Pezdevî in 1a. The titles are written in red ink, and some of the beginnings of the words are indicated with a red upper line. There are shukkas between the leaves. The copy has partial movement. Some foils are reddened below the line. There are moisture stains on the foils. The copy has been repaired. The skin is broken and needs repair. The copy consists of ten and twenty-one spreads. On the inside of the front cover of the volume, in 1a, there are quotations from various books on fiqh. In 1a there is a note saying 'Bought on Friday, the end of Shawwal, 893.' In 205a-b, there are quotations from al-Itkani's al-Shamil fî Commentary Usûli'l-Pezdevî and various books. There are Persian couplets in Ib at the end of the copy. It is a work of fiqh methodology written according to the Hanafi fuqaha method. In the work, which has four main sections as book, sunnah, ijma and qiyas, the issues of fiqh methodology are systematized and discussed in four classifications under main and subheadings.
