Sample Text (1b) In the name of God... O God, bless and grant peace to our master Muhammad and his family and companions. O God, there is no easy thing except that which You have made easy. O Lord, make it easy, O Generous one. The book of sharecropping, i.e., this is a book in explaining the rulings on sharecropping, which is an interaction of planting and cultivation, which is plowing and cultivation, and it is called mukhabarah and mahabas, and the people of Iraq call it... (397a) Ibn Muthanna and Ibn Bashar narrated to us, saying, Muhammad bin Jaafar narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Amr bin Murrah. On the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab, he said, Muawiyah came to Medina and addressed us, and he took out a ball of hair and said, “I did not see anyone doing it except the Jews. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, told him that he called it perjury.” Muslim said, “And a man came with a stick with a rag on its head.” Muawiyah said, “No, this is perjury.” Qatada said, meaning the rags women make their hair grow. The blessed part was completed, thanks to God, his help, and his good success. Praise be to God, and may God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, his companions, and his wives. His descendants, may God bless him and grant him peace, may God Almighty be pleased with all the companions of the Messenger of God and his followers, and he may follow their followers in goodness until the Day of Judgment... It will be recited, God Almighty willing, at the beginning of the part that follows, the Book of Virtues.
