Notes When a search is made regarding the interpretations of the relevant verses of the Surah Ar-Rum, the relevant treatises appear among the works of Abdullah Salahî. Stylistically, references to Ibnu'l-Arabi strengthen the work's belonging to Uşşâkî. Again, the existence of Uşşakî's interpretations of other verses also contributed to the identification of the author. Page 112a of the work is empty. In the margins of the pages, there are detailed operations of the calculations in the text. Comments on the translation of the Persian couplet meaning "I don't know if it is the science of tajvîd, reml, ilm-i cifr, sleep". 113b The author begins his work with a quote from Muyyiddin ibn Arabi's work titled Tahrîru'l-Beyân fî Takrîri Şuabi'l-Îmân, regarding the reputation of the great scholars of knowledge and discovery on the account of cifr in deducing judgments from the words of the book and sunnah. The treatise consists of the interpretation of the first five verses of the Surah Rum, calculated using the science of cifir.
Sample Text (112b) In the name of God... Have you not defeated the Romans... The greatest sheikh, may God sanctify us with His secret, the enlightening, said in the report on the people of faith. I saw some of the greatest people of knowledge and revelation that he considered the general calculation in extracting the rulings from the words of the Qur’an and the Sunnah... (113b) He grants victory to whomever He wills from among His servants, and the Mighty is the Victorious, the Merciful, the Helper of the Believers. And God speaks the truth and He guides the path under the beautiful explanation and calculation. From Nadnam, Anjm, Raml, Jafr, and Khawab Symbol of the truth of God who knows what is right
