Praise be to God, who made patience for success a guarantee and the beloved an ambush in adversity, who struck a hidden veil over the secrets of fate and decreed that goodness be set upon the prudent as a hidden stone... And among what he decreed me to do was the turmoil of alienation and the tendency to gain.
