Notes
The name of the work is stated as "Nefesü'l-Evân min Rûhi'l-Ekvân" on page 5b, and as "Nefesü'l-Evân min Rûhi'l-Ekvân Tetefeccerü minhü Yenâbî'u'l-Keşf ve'l-Beyân" in the copy in the Central Library in Jeddah. The work is attributed to Ca'fer es-Sâdık in Hizânetü't-Türâs. However, the belonging of the work to this author is not certain. On page Ia there is a stamp belonging to the Suleymaniye Library with the collection name and inventory number. There are poets at the end of the pages. In the copy, the leaves are numbered with Arabic numerals in red pencil. The beginnings of the words are sometimes written in red ink. The text is surrounded by a ruler with a single red line. There are correction records, explanations and notes regarding the content of the text in the margins of the pages. The phrase "foundation" is written occasionally throughout the copy on top of the text block at the top of the page. There are traces of moisture and tape at the bottom of the pages. The work is about the science of cefr/cifr, which is believed to provide knowledge of events that will take place in the future. It contains some notes about the importance and characteristics of this science, with quotes from Ali and Ca'fer es-Sâdık.

In the name of God... Praise be to God, who understood, understood, and taught us sciences that we did not know, and may God’s blessings be upon our master and prophet, Muhammad the Most Noble, and upon his family and companions, who are endowed with the highest destiny and most sublime glory. And after this, this is the breath of time from the spirit of the universes, from which springs of revelation and clarification in the knowledge of the events of time will burst forth (7b).
It has been proven by the scholars of the method and the sheikhs of the truth through correct transmission and clear revelation that the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, rose on the pulpit in Kufa and delivered a sermon.
