| Notes | Eser Sultan II. It was presented to the Sultan on the occasion of the saint society of Abdulhamid's daughter, Naima Sultan, dated 1315/1898. There is a preface with illuminated manuscripts at the beginning and a second page in verse. On these two pages, the text is surrounded by gilt and is also decorated with gilding. The text is framed in gilt throughout. Some of the paintings inside are framed with gilding in the same way. Titles and paragraph beginnings are written in red. |
