Notes Thin white colored paper. 148mm. height and 95 mm. 307 leaves wide; 47 mm per page. 15 lines in thin naskh script with vowels. It was written by Ahmad Naili of Galata in 1192/1178. This calligrapher, who was a student of a person named Mustafa Efendi, states that he wrote this mushaf in Istanbul for the 72nd time. (See Habib. Ay. es. p. 163.) Y. 1b,2a, on 2 pages, decorated with colorful decorations in the form of rose bouquets and ribbons on a gold background; parts, sections, prostration roses and sura heads are illuminated and written in white on gold; stops and rulers with gold. Purple leather binding with miklep, with gold writing decorations on the covers, herringbone and zenrek border around the edges.
