A part of this work is attributed to Molla Hüsrev. In the sources, the date of death of the author is mentioned as in the first years of the conquest of Istanbul. The author is also mentioned as "Nişancı Siracüddin Bey" or "Siracüddin et-Tevki" in some library and zahriye records. However, these are wrong.
